Event Halls in Livermore Temple

For centuries, the halls of ancient temples of India have echoed with the sounds of jingling bells and lilting classical music. Performing classical arts in these sacred dwellings of the Lord is not only blissful but also brings about a divine element to the classical art form. An ocean away, we are very fortunate that local artistes can continue the same Indian tradition in the auditorium and event halls of our own Shiva-Vishnu Temple in Livermore. Here, the artistes and the audience are enveloped in a spiritual environment elevating their enjoyment.

In the Lakireddy Auditorium the performers enjoy the convenience of an auditorium with state-of-the-art features. This makes this Auditorium an ideal venue for dance and music Arangetrams/Rangapravesams and other cultural performances. Dance and music performances can also be performed in the Akella Assembly Hall. In addition, the Hindu Community and Cultural Center (HCCC) has a number of smaller event halls where cultural programs, religious functions, Bhajans, lectures and meetings can also be held.

Getting Started: Planning your event at HCCC's facilities begins with meeting our Facilities Manager who will provide you with the various options. You have a range of choices of an auditorium and event halls that will suit your needs for the type of event, number of guests and the needs for audio and webcast facilities. If you would like to serve snacks or meals during or after the event, HCCC has catering options that will provide fresh, hot food to your guests from our kitchen. You also have the choice of a Temple priest conduct the puja prior to the commencement of the event.

Lakireddy Auditorium

Lakireddy Auditorium, with an area of 4200 square feet is equipped with a large stage that is ideal for dance Arangetrams and dance performances accompanied by live orchestra. It is also ideal for music Arangetrams and musical performances with multiple artistes performing simultaneously on different instruments. It has a state-of-the-art audio system with 32 channel audio mixer, CD, flash drive, iPhone and Bluetooth playback capabilities. The audio system includes flash drive recording and effects processor.

The auditorium is equipped with LED and conventional lighting fixtures ideal for colorful dance performances with special effects. The state-of-the-art audio and lighting systems are suitable for all types of cultural events.

Akella Assembly Hall

Akella Assembly Hall with an area of 3500 square feet can comfortably seat 360 people in lecture style or 240 in banquet style. It is equipped with a medium-sized stage that is ideal for dance performances accompanied by a live orchestra and musical performances with multiple artistes performing on different instruments. It has an audio system suitable for many types of cultural events. The Hall is equipped with a projector and drop-down screen and webcasting capability. It has a nice entrance lobby and a well-equipped green room. Besides dance and music concerts, the Hall can be used for weddings, meetings, lectures and religious programs.

Badrinath & Kedarnath Event Halls

Badrinath and Kedarnath Halls seat 140 and 120 people, respectively in lecture style, and are equipped with portable audio systems. These halls are best used for lectures, birthday parties, religious events and Bhajans. There is a projector that can be used for meetings and lectures. Some organizers have rented these halls for cultural events also. Many weddings have been conducted in these halls. Both the event Halls can be configured as two smaller halls for smaller audiences.

 

Tirumala Hall

Tirumala Hall which seats 120 people in lecture style is equipped with a portable audio system and is best used for birthday parties, religious events and Bhajans. There is a projector that can be used for meetings and lectures. Some renters have used this hall for cultural events also. Medium sized weddings can also be conducted in this hall. If food is to be served, 96 people can be seated in banquet style.

 

Gangotri Hall

Gangotri Room (Seats 50 in lecture and 40 in banquet style) is best used for birthday parties, religious events, Bhajans, meetings and lectures. It is also ideal for small weddings on a limited budget.

Palani Hall

Palani Room (Seats 40 in lecture and 32 in banquet style) is equipped with a portable Homa Kunda and a portable audio system. It is ideal for small weddings on a limited budget.

Chamundi Puja Room

The Chamundi Private room has Homa Kunda and is ideal for small religious ceremonies. This room can accommodate up to 20 persons.

Yamunotri and Sabarimala Dressing Rooms

Yamunotri and Sabarimala Dressing Rooms are equipped with showers and are ideal as augmented rentals when conducting weddings or religious events in one of the Event Halls listed above.

Rates and Terms

Rental Rates range from $100/hour for the small rooms to $600/hour for the large auditorium. Minimum hours of rental apply for each room. Set up and cleaning charges as well as cancellation fees apply. See details in the Facility Usage Application Form.
